Misty did an amazing job with my son for his newborn photoshoot. Her studio is clean and so lovely. Strongly recommended.

Misty was able to capture photos of my sons that were unbelievable. As expected with kids, one of my sons were very excited to see new people (thanks pandemic life) and was not interested in really following a lot of direction. I was so worried that I wouldn’t get any of the sweet photos I had so been hoping for. This was not the case. Misty’s photos were candid, and beautiful. She captured the trueness of their personalities, while still producing photos that look like they belong on a well curated Instagram account or magazine. I spent a long time deciding who to use as a photographer, I wanted someone local - but someone who was excellent with kids. Our small town is saturated with fabulous photographers, so it was a bit of a task to pick the one that would be right for our family. I had been creeping her website, and social medias, plus I have a few friends who have used her in the past. Everyone told me she was fabulous with kids, so I knew she would be right for us. I can’t wait until my youngest turns 1 so that we can have his cake smash photos done with her. If you’re looking for someone who is great with kids (re: patient, calm, and endearing with them), Misty is a great choice.

I would definitely recommend Misty Blue Photography. I first saw her work when she did my friends newborn photos and they were just precious. My daughter was around 7 weeks when we got hers and was not the most cooperative haha. She was so sweet and patient with her and we got amazing pictures. I highly recommend and will definitely get her to do any pictures in the future.

Misty has a bright, beautiful studio with a variety of props and decor to create the perfect mood for your photos. We booked a 'Little Sitter" session for our 6 month old, and to say our little one was uncooperative is an understatement! Misty was so patient and accommodating, and somehow managed to capture the most beautiful shots of our little girl! She's magic! Very quick to respond, book, and edit our final selections. Also, mindful of all COVID protocol during our time in the studio.
