ONE AXE Pursuits

We had an amazing time rappelling with Frederick. He was a great instructor and we felt super safe the whole time. We hope to come back next year and complete the full day rappelling course!

I learned to lead climb outside with One Axe in Elora Gorge. The climbs are fun, the gorge is gorgeous, and the trainer, Frederick, is super personable and makes you feel safe as you learn new things. I felt super safe and educated the whole time. I would honestly go back for future classes.

One Axe has some of the best instructors in the industry. Fred is a very detailed person. Him and Christa created each and every program knowing exactly how they want their customers to experience each and every adventure. The amount of creativity and meticulous work that goes into their mission impossible program really allows you to feel like you are immersed in their vision. From dismantling bombs to death defying zip line traverses, you’d almost feel like you were James Bond!

That goes the same about the training that is put into every instructor. Safety is the most important when creating all of the technical rope programs that have existed since this company started. A truly safe and exciting company to provide fantastic moments in your life that you will never forget!

One Axe is a fabulous company run by creative, competent and caring people! The owner, Frederick, is apparently kinda famous for his own quests and has been trusted world-wide as an expert in innovative adventure safety. They do a great job of offering fun, safe and also challenging family outings, adventures with friends, and corporate team building.
Would definitely recommend!

Over the last 20 years we’ve been out with One Axe at least 6 times. Rock climbing and rappelling, ice climbing twice, caving and zip lining.
They are the best! Supportive, educational, and fun.
On two occasions it was a day out for 3 generations of our family - truly wonderful days together!
