Excellent restaurant /pub featuring many of their brews made on-site. Many are very hoppy for those who like that flavour in the summertime. Some lovely fruity beers as well. While the lunch menu isn’t extensive, there is still a very good selection for whatever might pique your interest. The fries are fantastic as is the homemade ketchup.

Great setting and delicious beers, but the food left a bit to be desired. Everything tasted really good, but portions were extremely small for the prices. Chicken skewers had one small nugget of chicken on it, and for the price that's a bit silly. We would still go back and it is a cool spot, but the food game can be upped a notch.

Elora Brewing Co. Is a local craft brewery. Their main focus is, of course, their beers - which are fantastic. They have a fair selection of brews and are continually experimenting with new flavours. Most notably their Lodestar brew, which has had variants including guava, passionfruit, and plum.
Elora also has a dinner menu, smaller selection but good quality food.
I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner if you're vegan or vegetarian. They do provide one vegetarian option though if you're in need, a veggie burger.
The menu is regularly changing to reflect local produce and chef creativity. One thing never changes though, the vegetarian option.
The building itself is unique, offering dinners the opportunity to view their brews house/fermentation tanks and purchase bottled beer or Elora Brewing swag.
The brewery also offers live music events as well as special menu items such as Taco Tuesday.
Overall one of my favourite places to go and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in town!

I highly recommend not going here if you only have an hour for lunch (which is usually sufficient for any other restaurant I've been to on my lunch). We didn't have to wait for a table which was great, especially for 12:30 pm, but for some reason we had to wait about 20 minutes to order our food. When it was 1:20, I finally caved and asked our server to put our food in boxes as I was going to be late. 10 more minutes went by, and a different server brought us our food in boxes and the debit machine to pay. To top it off, my food was barely warm when it was brought out, signaling that it had been ready and sitting for at least a few minutes. Overall, this was not how I was hoping to spend my lunch break. I will, however, acknowledge that the overall appearance of the restaurant was great and the fries weren't half-bad - maybe I'll return when I have more time to spare.

EDIT**** I have changed my review from one star to three because of the outstanding customer service received from the team at Elora Brewing. In response to my original review, Jon was quick to contact me to apologize and offer a refund plus a gift. Amy then quickly organized both to be sent to my house. I received 6 500mL bottles of their craft beer and a $50 gift card which more than made up for the experience I had. I will 100% be giving them a second chance in the future. Thanks Jon and Amy!

Came here two years ago as well and the food is still just decent, the drinks are better and the service is so slow!!!

The location and the restaurant environment is really nice though.

We also had a really nice experience with one of the servers who saw that our table was wobbly and she came back to fix it! Great service and attentiveness.

    What we ordered:

Appetizer: cod fish cakes, they were quite fishy and you definitely need to add a good squeeze of lemon on them! Wish the mayonnaise-based sauce had a bit of kick them.

    Mains:
Fried chicken sandwich, chicken is moist and crispy on a nice bun but it barely had any flavour! The fries are okay... they need to add some pickles or coleslaw on the side.

Pulled chicken sandwich, better flavour (still would be better with more sauce and flavour) but not much chicken in it. Again served with fries, which were okay.

They make their own ketchup which reminds me more of a pasta sauce almost? Really wanted the classic taste, or at least closer to that taste, to enjoy with the sandwiches and fries.

Definitely should make a reservation on the weekend.
