(February 10, 2018, 11:42 am)This is one of the best doctor's offices ever. They have a few teams of doctors which include the doctors, some nurse practicioners and nurses. We love Mrs Toffelmire who is the nurse practitioner for children. She is an amazing nurse who has a great bedside manner with children. This office also has a foot doctor clinic which is amazing. Kyle is so great with our son. The staff also includes therapists. They are free and excellent at helping individuals through difficult times. They are popular so sometimes there is a bit of a wait. I love that they have nutritionists on staff because the food we eat impacts so much. The centre sometimes has evening hours. They offer a call in service during off hours which is a God-send for worried parents.
If you are a parent of young children you should try the HUGS program. It is a great way to connect with other parents, learn about timely and important topics, and have access to a nurse practioner and nutritionist to ask questions. Your child can even be weighed and measured. There is childcare offered for those close to a year to age 6. Your children and babies are welcome to stay with you the whole time as well. It is a breastfeeding friendly place and breastfeeding support is provided as well. It was one of my favorite places when my children were young. It happens on the 2nd and 4th Friday morning of every month. You do not need have a doctor at the centre or live in woolwich to attend.
