East Side Mario's Waterloo (University)

Great atmosphere... went here to celebrate an early Father's day with my children... our meals were very tasty and the continuous supply of freshly baked bread was really welcome...

Oh my goodness, what a good experience. We had both just been to the dentist. Our server was so understanding when we asked for hot water and some ice. Then a straw for the soup. She did a great job. Everything came in timely order. ????

Its a very good place for lunch or dinner if you have a group of 3-4 people atleast. Food is great as well as the interior. The 'all you can eat' offer includes unlimited soups / salad. They also give a bread and butter which is freshly baked and of really good taste. From time to time they provide offers where if u spend 30 dollars, u get a 10 dollar discount, which is actually a very good deal. Also, soft drinks are offered at a discounted price (99 cents) during the time of such promotion.

The staff was quite nice and patient although we went pretty late (I was literally the last person to walk out)

Coming to the food, I had a Cheese Sandwich and Pasta (w/ Rose sauce). The sandwich was okay but I've heard that it's much better usually; may have something to do with it being the last meal. Pasta, on the other hand, was pretty nice! You can count on it because this was the very first Pasta that I've ever had a positive feedback for.

I've also heard about their All-You-Can-Eat dishes but they were out of soup unfortunately. (Will try that sometime and update the review!)

Apart from that, the Salad was really good. For hardcore ketchup fans: they DON'T have ketchup but they do offer different types of sauces which I personally found satisfying.

One can really sit back and enjoy the food with some good music around.

Overall, I'd say that it is a decent place and I was satisfied with the meal I had.

Absolutely amazing service! We had Jay as our server and he alone deserves five stars for himself! Especially as a newcomer, I couldn’t even tell he was a new employee! He did way better than any experienced waiter I’ve honestly ever had. The food also tasted great! I wish we could’ve tipped way more but sadly we’re poor students. Jay is the absolute best waiter! Thank you so much Jay!
