Our daughter transferred from another Owl centre 7 months ago to St Brigid. The educators and supervisors were so amazing ensuring her transfer was as easy on her (and us) as possible. Her new educators would face time with her old educators / class to help comfort her and to ask questions to become familiar with what works for her in the classroom.

We have had many people question why we put our daughter in a centre or question why we haven’t looked for ‘cheaper’ private care and I can honestly say that I am able to go to work every day feeling 100% at peace knowing my baby is safe, she is fed nutrious food, she is loved, given a routine and very well-educated. Owl is an amazing place and she absolutely loves it. On the weekends she asks to go to school to see her friends and looks forward to sharing experiences and stories with her educators. They go on field trips, nature walks and fun-filled adventures – it truly is an exceptional program.

It takes very special individuals to do what the educators do on a daily basis. They are so patient and kind to our daughter, who is a very strong willed personalitied 3 yr old. She is always getting hugs when she needs them – from any of the educators! She has run through the playground getting hugs from random educators that I am not familiar with but they all seem to know her name which is incredible. We are expecting a baby boy and educators from other rooms have congratulated me and said they heard she is going to have a baby brother – their memory and level of care for the entire centre’s families is truly amazing.

For the educators to have their own classroom full of children and yet to remember the other children’s names in other rooms just goes to show how much of a family this place really is. Owl has truly become a second family to her and we are forever grateful.

We really appreciate every big and small little thing that the entire team does for her on a daily basis. They really are helping to raise our daughter as they spend more hours during the week with her than we do. We would never consider moving her anywhere else & our next child is already on the wait list!

My son absolutely loves "school" and it's 100% because of the wonderful staff at Owl St Brigid, especially our #1 team in Toddler 2. They took the time to get to know my son, build a rapport based on trust and caring with him and with us, and as a bonus they know exactly how to handle his "indecisiveness" and silliness in a constructive way. He bonded especially quick to Emily, and she was really our rock during transition and remains special to us for the role she plays in my sons daily life. Steph is always calm and caring, especially when things are off to a hectic start at 7am - Her patience never seems to waver. Melody is always down on the floor with the kids reading books, pulling off snow suits or refereeing potty breaks. She will do whatever it takes with a smile in her face. I feel really good about the care and education they provide for my child every single day. My son is blossoming into such a smart, funny and caring child and this is the direct result of the toddler 2 program and how well it compliments our home life. My son will make pretend food at home and proclaim he is "cooking like Jen!". He sees the Flanagan food delivery truck in the parking lot and knows it has food for Jen to cook in it, he gets so excited. He adores her and when she brings food to his class I'm told lol On a seperate note, I love that educators I have never met or met only a few times know my son's name and he smiles and interacts with them in the hall which tells me they go the extra mile even when the child isn't in their primary program. I gush about the care our child receives daily any chance I get. My son loves his educators and his program and we love the positive effect it has had on our family, but mostly that Owl St Brigid is working with us to ensure my son reaches his fullest potential with the best start all of us can give him.
