Well now, here is a place that has incredible staff who act like caring professionnals in the field of medicine.
From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a bright, clean, spacious facilty that is freshly painted, has gleaming floors and is decorated with nice pictures.
Clinic policies are clearly posted.
OATC has numerous positive, "life quotes" posted throughout. Evidence of the postive attitude of staff.
The bathrooms are spotless as is the seperate sink outside the washrooms to wash your hands in.
The woman that dealt with the patient I escorted was nothing short of a burst of happy, positive warmth. She loves her job...and it shows!
Kudos to OATC....thank you for being so obviously transparent, professional, courteous, caring, willing to help and understanding.
It is clear that THIS is the treatment center in this town that is in the business of TRULY WANTING to help addicts, to treat them with fairness, kindness, dignity and respect.
A VERY BAD experience at Renew Medical Clinics with Dr Shahram Emami and his employess resulted in my loved one leaving Renew to attend OATC. My loved one paid for a hair strand test which was conducted via DriverCheck in Kitchener that PROVED there were/are no opiates or any other drugs in her system even though Renews urine test showed opiates. Arguments between my lawyer, the patients lawyer and Emami's have begun regarding Renews urine testing and my google review which is on the Renew website.
The staff at OATC brought tears to my eyes with their kindness and professionalism in dealing with my loved one.
Wow! What a HUGE difference in patient care. Hands down, OATC excels at their job and showed, in 30 minutes, exactly how patient care SHOULD be given.
The Dr was respectful, pleasant, courteous, understanding, compassionate and easy to speak with. In a word, "TOPNOTCH!"
