Retire at Home Scarborough is a fabulous Home Care company to work with. Their training on elder care / respite care was excellent and we have monthly meetings to ensure client care is at its highest level.

A typical day would be to help our home care client with making lunch, dinner light house work, and remind them to take medication.

I was encouraged to take courses on Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementia Training Program.

Management is also accommodating and considerate,

Hardest part of the job was saying good bye to the Home care clients as they become your family.

The most enjoyable part of the job was making that connection with the clients in and around Scarborough and developing a level of trust and security, One of my most difficult clients would tell me to leave after working half an hour., and she would tell me " you can go now" I managed to develop a level of trust after several shifts and in the end I believe that she didn't want me to leave.

It's been three years since I have been working for this great home care company and I enjoy every day of it.

I am very impressed with the home care team at Retire-At-Home Scarborough. The Caregivers are exceptional. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for senior care and home support services.
