(March 30, 2019, 2:56 pm)Very original interior design. First I was like, oh, what is this ? A long table in the salon, with six office chairs, dull colours on the doors, but contemporary furniture! And black and white pictures on the walls, Toronto in his old days! Nice coffe maker, a small fridge (did not expect to have one at all).
Finaly I understood the ideea behind this mixture: melting together the old and the modern. Interesting!
I ended up liking it. Very friendly receptionist and a good breakfast, included. Saint James hotel deserve a visit! -

(February 21, 2019, 3:34 am)Cool hotel that is let down by its somewhat sketchy location. The rooms are nice and the services available are what you would expect at this price point.
On the one hand, the hotel is at the heart of downtown and close to lots of places. On the other, the Yonge and Gerrard area is not that great to be around, especially at night so it really depends on how comfortable you are there. -

(January 13, 2019, 2:15 am)Nice hotel, nice staff, average price. Breakfast was not what we expected: we were given a choice between a burrito, a breakfast bowl or a smoothie. We expected there to be a breakfast buffet, as there generally are in hotels, and we weren’t told about the alternative breakfast style beforehand. Good enough, though!

(November 7, 2018, 12:36 am)Cute hotel that had everything we needed. A very nice, clean room that had been recently renovated. Check in was easy. Parking was cheap. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was really nice. We would definitely stay here again!!
