  Better for an evening outing. A little too dark and loud for an afternoon meet up with friends. Great atmosphere and food!

  Great atmosphere and the staff are very knowledgeable. Good brunch that is also very filling. Sharing recommended!

  Tennessee is a great place! It's got an interesting menu. The staff recommend you order things to share with your table as opposed to individual consumption, but of course you can order for yourself if you want to.
  They have all you can eat pierogies for $6.99 on Sundays which is a great deal, and the pierogies are delicious!!
  They also have a great list of craft beers, some of which I have never seen in other restaurants - I might just be too much of a hermit but it's still a great list.
  The atmosphere is very interesting, but you can tell as soon as you walk in that Tennessee is truly one of a kind and you won't find another place like it in the city.

  Great atmosphere. Food portions large and very shareable. Authentic dishes from different areas around Eastern Europe. Definitely recommend.

  For the people out there who enjoy a nice Saturday or Sunday morning brunch, this place is for you. For the people who want to try an exceptionally different type of brunch, this place is ESPECIALLY for you.
  
  Tennessee Tavern does a spectacular job of meshing Eastern European food with a bit of a North American twist. Being born in a Slavic country myself, eating here took me back in time as well as highlighted the fact that our food is under represented and not many people know how delicious it can be.
  
  Service was top notch, friendly and it was obvious our server loved eating the food too! A big thank you to the staff for a wonderful meal and to Van Gameren for making such an experience possible!
