(March 22, 2019, 6:37 pm)Two of us had a wonderful meal of oysters, a couple of small plates and a couple of large plates. Everything was really good, the cod fritters and seafood stew were especially delicious. Only criticisms: not a great selection of wines, and the menu didn’t say that one dish - the Digby scallops - included peanuts. We’ll be back.

(February 8, 2019, 12:01 pm)Really quite accomplished menu execution, best approached as family style: pick a bunch of plates and jointly tuck in. Surprisingly successful and adventurous presentation of standard east coast fare with echoes of Asian and European flavour and texture combos. Octopus, rabbit, cod fritters, all matched their accompaniments well. I marked the Octopus, in particular, for commendation. The texture was perfect. Too often it is overcooked and flabby, but this had nice texture, and perfect flavour.
Dessert was a nice take on deep-fried ice cream. Sounds a bit hackneyed, but no, it was delicious.
Service good. Small well chosen wine, beer and cider list. Unadventurous decor.
Well worth a visit. -

(December 2, 2018, 7:41 pm)Best french toast I've ever had! The flavours work together so perfectly. Went with my family for brunch and there was something for everyone. Loved the atmosphere and the 70's throwback tunes too. Our server was also great, very sweet and courteous. Can't wait to come back!
