I am a marathon walker (usually 50k per weekend around the city walking bus routes) and my old Saucony Echelon 6s were understandably falling apart (9 months old, over 2,000km on them). She gave me 4 different shoes to try and paid attention to all my needs for a proper replacement shoe. She recommended gel insoles and also told me the difference between outdoors hiking shoes vs. city/path walking shoes. I went with a new pair of Asics Gel something-or-the-other - they are a pretty shade of red and the newest model. Carmella was very helpful and very patient, and laced up each shoe for me before I tried it on, which was a really nice touch. This is the third time I've purchased from this store, and each time it gets better and better. She was also a pleasure to chat with. Thank you so much, and thank you Running Room!
