Looks like a monument you may find in Hawaii or something more tropical with an oar held up high by a dude without a shirt. Ned Hanlan should be proud on how he's remembered.

I did an extensive tour and the Very First Place I hit was the Ned Hanlan's Memorial.
This man was Very Important because he was the first Canadian athlete to be world champion in an individual event and the first Canadian athlete to gain international recognition as a Professional Rower and in 1873 he won the championship of Toronto bay.
I was very honored to see his Sculpture back on Monday, July 16, 2018.
