Monica has made the biggest impact in my understanding and love for yoga. She introduced me to Ashtanga yoga, and completely changed my view on body and spiritual awareness. Her in-depth knowledge of the yoga practice and beautiful kind nature make her classes the safest space to build flexibility and strength, learn to breath along with the movement, and have a great fun! During that time, I was also dealing with a shoulder injury that was nagging me for years. Monica’s Rolfing sessions and personalized care helped me to gently continue my practice while healing and recovering. Monica is simply fantastic, and hope you are as lucky as me to meet her on your path of health, wellness and awesomeness!

"What I like best about my experience so far with Monica is that I am learning a lot about my body. My torn ACL on my left knee often makes me walk crooked or limp slightly and Monica has been able to show me how to correct that and work on moving in a way that is best for my body. Rolfing coupled with gentle joint movement is really unique and I recommend this to everyone, injury or no injury"

Brent came highly recommended by a few friends that were struggling with back issues. Over the past 20 years I’ve tried everything from massage, yoga, acupuncture.. you name it. I started going to Brent for my neck pain and I’ve been going to him for several years now. The one thing I love about Brent is that he listens and he works directly on the problem area to relieve the pain. I noticed after several Rolfing sessions that these sessions creates harmony throughout the whole body because sometimes there’s more going on than just the “neck pain” maybe stemming from back, hips, even the “fatty tissue” of my feet. Brent is also willing to talk to me about what’s going on in life... being a new mom and holding my babies (relationship with core) sitting at the ball field, and the way I drive and stand. All these day to day occurrences can lead to discomfort and “pain”, yet he has given me pointers on how to do them differently resulting in a better quality of life outside the session. Brent is very knowledgeable, easy to relate to and honestly cares about your well being, not to mention he has “healing hands” because I always come out of the sessions with peace of mind and relief of pain. I know that sounds like a bold statement but it’s true!! I’m in Birmingham AL and he now lives in Canada and it’s always a treat to have him visit and I long for another session with Brent.

I’ve wanted to try Rolfing for years but never could find the right person. The Rolfing experience was pretty amazing. After the program, I’ve become much more aware of my posture, my breathing and my body in general. Towards the end of the 10-series session, I told Brent how nice it was to walk without pain after 30 years of pain. I highly recommend Brent to anyone thinking about Rolfing. Thank you, Brent!

First of all, I should say that I am a huge fan of Rolfing, first discovering it about 20 years ago, when a repetitive strain injury from playing piano 8 hours a day became really debilitating. I tried everything from traditional Swedish massage, to shiatsu, to acupuncture, to Alexander technique… all of these did help somewhat, but when I experienced Rolfing I knew that I was truly on the path to really fully recovering from my injury.
I’ve tried about 10 different Rolfing practitioners over this time, just because I love Rolfing that much, and I wanted to see what each person brought to the work and if there was even more I could get from it.
So with all that as context, I feel I can say with conviction, having had the full 10-series sessions now from Brent, that Brent is the most talented Rolfer I’ve ever had the chance to work with. He brings a solid technical understanding of the work, along with a huge dose of intelligence, intuition, thoughtfulness, listening, and openness, which has made this such a rewarding experience for me. I have a new found awareness of my body and how I carry myself, a greater sense of ease when I move, and new options for how I move through space. This is quite remarkable for me since I’ve already had so much Rolfing work done. And I’m not one to write reviews (usually can’t be bothered), but I feel that Brent’s work warrants me taking the time to put down my thoughts. I’ll just close by saying that if you’re interested in Rolfing, you would be in great hands with Brent.
