I had my first experience of Hair Love today. Having never been (and not letting other Google reviews sway me one way or another), I didn't know what to expect other than what I saw on their Instagram. I was greeted, invited to have a seat on the couch, and was offered coffee/tea/water. It took only a few minutes for Michelle (stylist) to invite me into the chair. Having booked online for a cut, I didn't get a chance to modify my booking. After admitting I was hoping to do some dye touch-ups, I was very lucky to have had Henny available to extend my appointment. Both ladies did an absolutely amazing job.

One thing that I admittedly flubbed on was the tip, solely because I am horrible at math and was trying to focus on paying (I tipped $20 instead of 20%). NEVER AGAIN!!! I'm planning on returning and next time I will be sure to tip more generously - they're worth it!!

These ladies work amazingly hard and do stunning work. I can't find many things to say as far as what could have been better. I find some salons that try to be friendly can come off as false, but I felt genuinely welcome to ask questions and learn more about how I can make the most of my hair care and styling. Atmosphere, attitude, and skill are all present here. From start to finish, the ladies accommodated me, chatted with me, and kept me in a great mood. I will be recommending strongly to anyone I can! This was my first time getting my hair done at HAIRLOVE by LBhair. The salon came highly recommended to me by my long-time, very trusted hairdresser/colour technician, who had moved back home to Ireland. I was really anxious about getting my highlights done by a stranger, as I have had some pretty bad experiences in Toronto since moving here 12 years ago. I would normally either go to my trusted colour technician, or I would wait until I was going home to Ireland to get it done there. I couldn’t keep doing this, so I decided to throw caution to the wind and try this highly recommended hair salon. I’M SO THRILLED TO SAY THAT I HAVE FOUND MY SALON FOR LIFE!!!!! Loriebelle is an incredible hairstylist. We had a very brief chat before we got started, and she knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I was made to feel very at-home and I was given such wonderful treatment. The results that I got were very natural looking highlights, a perfect cut, blow dry and style...and some fantastic advice on how to keep my new locks in great shape. I will be back FOR SURE again... and again.... and AGAIN!!!

This is such a wonderful salon! Sherrie did an amazing job cutting my hair, and she really takes the time to talk about what you want and what she'll be doing to your hair. The head massage was wonderful too!

The atmosphere is great, everyone is super sweet and down to earth. It has taken me a year and a half in this city to find my salon "home" ...and I think I've found it!
