Gears Bike Shop Canary District Toronto

My spouse are always treated well by the Gears (Canary District) staff. It's the only location/bike shop we have our bikes tuned at because they do a great job.

This review is to shine the spot light on someone who is especially helpful - LISA.

She has a wonderful warm personality, she gives honest opinions and will go the extra mile to do research on products or track down hard to find items just for you. Justin and I think you're worth singling out LISA! Thank-you for all your help!

These guys are awesome. Super friendly and helpful for all levels of bicyclists. Wish their website was better for e-commerce but they’re doing the best they can. Please support your local bike shop!

I have been a customer of Gears (Canary District) for a year and a half. They have always provided great tech service, advice, and competitive prices.
In preparation for a long-distance tour overseas last year Mike did a complete tune up of my bike. The piece of mind and improved performance this service provided me was invaluable during my tour. Additionally, as my bike was approximate twenty years old, I wanted to get the wheels rebuilt as an additional precaution. Rather than simply completing the request, Mike recommended an associate at a competitors shop who he felt could better fulfill my requirements. That advice was both appreciated and turned out to be highly effective. In these competitive days in the bike repair business it is refreshing to find such a customer centric approach to dealing with a patron’s needs.

What a great hike shop! Everyone was super friendly and so helpful. They got my bike fixed up so quickly and had a lot of helpful suggestions for options for the parts that needed replacing. Looking for a bike in a pandemic hasn’t happened much, but the folks at Gears hunted down a rare bike with an XL frame for me in Oakville of all places. They got it shipped to my closest store, and ready in a couple of days. Service was outstanding! Thank you Allan for your resourcefulness, and Dave and team for slaying it on the build for me.
