(July 6, 2020, 5:04 pm)The alternative location of Fran's isn't somewhere I usually find myself but ended up there for dinner after an adventurous day exploring downtown.
We were told the COVID19 rules, signed in and were seated on the patio.
Everything was very clean, pleasant atmosphere and we looked at the menu and ordered.
I chose the Chicken Quesadillas, my date chose the Montreal Corned Beef Hash.
We ate and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I've never expected less from Fran's Restaurant though. This is one Toronto restaurant that's stood the test of time and will remain a classic. Thank you! -

(May 10, 2020, 8:58 pm)This restaurant offers fairly good pub food at very decent prices considering the prime downtown location. The service was fun and friendly. I would definitely recommend it overall. Everything we tried was delicious.

(February 8, 2020, 3:37 pm)Came here after watching a show at Meridian Hall since they were open after 11 pm and right across the street. Good food and good service. The place was pretty full but we good our food pretty quick. The chorizo sausage hash tasted awesome and the 2 egg traditional tasted great as well.
I would definitely come here again especially after watching another show at Meridian Hall.
