Dr Jonathan Stern is by far the best dental practitioner I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient to. He is my third dentist in my lifetime, and by far the most gentle and delicate handed. I have anxiety and extreme tooth sensitivity and he has been a godsend when it comes to working with me to get me through my appointments efficiently and effectively. I have a new outlook on what a dental visit should look and feel like. Moreover his pricing is extremely fair and facilities are top of class. If he could not exceed my expectations even further he saw my 5 1/2 year old son as an emergency tooth extraction during COVId. What a class act. He was gentle, direct with a calming and funny disposition, allowing my young boy to have a great experience in what otherwise could have been a scary and negative early dental experience. I have to thank him and his kind and professional support staff for their kindness, professionalism and outstanding level of care that they have provided myself and my little boy over these past couple years of being his patient. Thank you Dr. Stern! You have our utmost gratitude. I highly recommend Dr Stern to ANYONE who is looking for a qualified, kind and fair dentist in the city of Toronto. I was experiencing a pain in one of my teeth, which my last dentist said would require either a crown or a root canal. She quoted me a price for the root canal that was hundreds of dollars more than the guidelines for dentists in Ontario.

So I went looking for a second opinion. Jonathan assessed my tooth and determined that he might be able to resolve the pain with a filling, which would be far less invasive and costly than the alternatives. He also found another cavity that the other dentist had missed. Unlike some dentists, he was forthright and transparent about costs, referencing a fee sheet with a standardized list of prices.

The actual care was incredibly good. Jonathan was gentle, patient, and most of all effective. The pain in my tooth immediately disappeared and the other filling was also completed without a hitch.

Overall, I highly recommend this dentist, especially if you're in need of work that is more serious than a regular check-up and cleaning (which they also offer).

I've been going to Dr. Jonathan Stern for a few years now. He is amazing and really knows his stuff. I needed a few complicated procedures (dentures, root canals) and every time Jonathan was professional, knowledgeable, and gentle with me (even when I was extremely nervous at times). He explains everything and really takes care to make sure you are comfortable when you visit him. He has earned my full trust and I'm very happy with him and his clinic.
