  Good service from staff to management. Liked the atmosphere and enjoyed the rink just outside.
  My fiancé forgot her fitness tracker and the staff was kind enough to call us back so we could retrieve it. Would recommend just based on the service!

  They use to have the best fries! I don't know why and never expected it from a place like this. The drinks are insanely pricey and not worth it. I once order a glass of white wine, they gave me like 1/5 of a glass and charged me $25...I am still mad til this day.

  Had a coffee and a biscuit. Both were tasty. Decor was nice, service was fine. Touch pricey but it's kind of what you expect walking into a place like this.

  Great place to relax and enjoy some time. Either to catch up on an afternoon work, meet up with colleagues or just enjoy time with friends. Has a small but high quality selection of drinks and food options. You won’t regret spending some time in this place with a great one view.

  Hosted a work-related social event at Boxcar for about 30 guests. Service from the initial event booking through to closing out the tab at the end of the evening was beyond the high hopes we already had for the venue. Wonderful experience from the management down to the caring and attentive bar and wait staff. Great coffee, great variety of beers, high quality and well-prepared cocktails, funky and relaxed atmosphere... Can't recommend boxcar enough. Looking forward to my next visit even without a work function.

Point being, Boxcar Social is a go-to place for coffee snobs and the usual cafe vibe if that's your thing (though I prefer other places around the block). But once the sun sets, you'd more likely find me either next door at County Cocktail, or pounding beer flights in my own basement.
