As a kid, I worked at Sunnybrook hospital, and used to bike to the creek, or walk.it's just the best in all of Toronto.bring a good book.

Toronto police horse barn located in the park,
And at the very end of the park is one of Toronto best kept secrets. what is it? An MCC speck, cricket pitch, where international games are played.
Great for picnic and always watch for cars crawling thru,
Keep an eye on the little ones, they like water, and we don't call it wilket creek for nothing, and please clean up after yourself, This is Toronto the clean, or is it Toronto the good? -

(October 19, 2018, 1:27 pm)The City of Toronto has done a tremendous job of landscaping and path development within Wilket Creek Park (which is located between Edwards Gardens to the North and Sunnybrook Park to the South and West).
Construction is ongoing in the Fall of 2018. The completed sections are beautiful in every season particularly with the bridge crossings.
My favourite season here is Fall and it's a great convenient spot to see the colours at their peak. The path is winding but pretty much flat once you walk down into the valley at Edwards Gardens (where you can also find lots of free parking). Washrooms are located at either end of the park but the south ones are not open year round. See you out there! -

(October 13, 2018, 5:11 pm)Great all-around city park. Spaces for family picnics, etc. Not sure if any play structures. My wife's running series - Toronto Women's Runs - is based out of this park.

(September 3, 2018, 7:32 pm)Lots of mature trees, lush grass and vegetation. Spaced out picnic areas with BBQ pits. Great paved trail for walking or biking.
