Wendy (Wijdan) is a very experienced ECE teacher who took fantastic care of my 18 month old toddler and has taught him many practical skills. Wendy meticulously plans out age-appropriate activities for the child ahead of time and even prepares home-made edible playdoh, slime so it's absolutely safe for the kid. She's very creative and comes up with new "lessons" for the kids so it's never boring for them. She stays on top of toddler milestones and helps parents by working as a team! For example, she plans a lot of sensory activities (colored rice, colored macaroni, hiding animal figurines in edible sand (cornmeal) and much more!) for my child since his age bracket craves sensory exploration and learns that way. She also gives a report to the parents at the end of the day about the child's mood, what he learnt, diaper changes, food intake etc so we know what to expect and it's a smooth transition for the parents too. All in all, I'm very happy and consider myself lucky to have Wendy as my toddler's daycare provider :-)
