We contracted Trace to coordinate the replacement of the plumbing in our townhouse downtown.
The engineering report was done to satisfaction but we also paid extra to have Trace submit the permit application to the city on our behalf. We had hoped this would save time as we were under a significant time crunch but the Trace employee who submitted the papers as part of the "complete package" did not review the documents before submission and they were at first denied, which almost caused us to miss our deadline.
I will say however that one of their project managers who did the site visit, KC, was very responsive to our concerns and put a rush on his final report and submitted it within 24 hours.
All in all, I am happy with Trace's service but would recommend you do not waste your money by having them apply for a permit on your behalf.
Trace Consulting has helped me to file for a City permit to renovate the entire plumbing for my condo. The process proved to be quite challenging to get all the relevant information and approval from the Condo management. Trace Consulting was very supportive and their customer service worked patiently to collect all required documents to file for the application. Because of their knowledge and expertise, I received the City permit ahead of time.
