Shinta Japanese BBQ

Very good. More expensive than Korean barbecue but very much worth it. Beef chicken and pork are all very well marinated and the food cooked quickly with the brand new stoves.

Also has a surprisingly diverse selection of side dishes from clams to sushi. Hope to come back to try the wagyu options next

Our server Tiffany was very sweet and considerate, and attended to all of our needs and went above and beyond.

Best place in town for AYCE Japanese bbq, period

Prices are really good for the quality of ingredients that you get from the regular Black Angus menu, and the ventilation here is well designed that you don’t walk out smelling like grilled meat

This is the only BBQ brand in Toronto that I know of that offers AYCE wagyu menus, which are great for big spenders

Amazing experience at Shinta North York location.

The variety of high quality meats available on the even the cheapest AYCE menu option is fantastic. There are also some items on this menu that aren’t available at the highway 7 location. Something that I really appreciate is the assortment of seasonings/dips that you can have with your meat. To top it off, they are also appropriately staffed so food comes out shortly after ordering.

Will absolutely be back!

Went here on a soft opening. Despite they did not serve alcohol, we had a great experience. Service was great and swift, never more than 5 second wait, and they all had big smile and very attentive. The beef was a decent portion and everything tasted great. Really nothing to complain about. Already planning to go back with a big group.

Definitely come back with my family! They have a lot of choices for customers, as my friend can't have seafood, our server was very patient and nice. We really enjoyed the beef selections. Love their ice cream cone!
