I came specially for the breakfast buffet and i was sad to find out it was closed during covid19. The jacuzzi was closed as well. Rooms were simple. Parking isn't free. But, I received 5 stars service from the two people at the front there

Staff was very friendly and the hotel has taken additional safety measures for COVID-19. Our room was clean and featured a balcony overlooking the pool and restaurant area, however this proved to be a bit annoying as noise from other guests using the pool was easily heard in our room and was somewhat of a disturbance while trying to relax. Overall I would book a stay here again, the price is reasonable and the location is convenient with easy TTC access and close proximity to Yorkdale shopping centre.

My review is mostly geared towards the customer service I received while staying at this hotel for 5 1/2 months. Even though I enjoyed my stay, the location and the breakfast buffet thoroughly I am compelled to speak about some individual employees whom I hope are still there and appreciated for how well they make this establishment shine.

Mary - She worked in the atrium, servicing the pool, fitness center and kids play area. The play area wasn't open all the time, it needed an attendant. My daughter Olivia for 2 or 3 days spent certain amounts of time with Mary in the play area along with her older siblings at times. But Mary took time to play with Olivia, help her color pictures and put on movies she liked. I'm not sure if Mary is tasked to do those things, but she made such an impression on my daughter that she drew a pictures just for her before we left! We didn't have the time to find her beforehand, but that really made me feel like Mary deserved at least to be mentioned. Thank you for making my daughter feel comfortable while she passed the time in the kids area.

Arlene - The Caretaker on my floor. It's only normal a someone staying in a hotel for months on end like myself would come to at least some sort of rapport with the cleaning staff. Arlene is from The Philippines so I of course took an interest in her because she could help me brush up on my Tagalog. She was always happy to help and basically did everything she did with a smile on her face. She was the most positive person I ran into my entire time in Canada! Arlene would take special care when cleaning my room, and go above and beyond, in my eyes when it came to her duties. She always made sure to ask about my day and anything else I managed to talk her ear off about while we crossed paths. Arlene is the single most reason I would come back to this hotel when visiting Toronto.

For the life of me I can not remember her name, I feel so terrible because she was the coolest and funniest person to talk to at the hotel. The lady who worked the grill at the breakfast buffet. She had a Caribbean-Like accent and everyone liked her. She was one of the main reasons I went to the buffet so much.

This hotel definitely owes any of it's success to the stellar staff it employs. There isn't a single person from reception to groundskeeping that I would complain about (and that is HARD for me, because I'm a typical American who LOVES to complain when warranted). Thanks for the wonderful stay, guys!
