Great group and club to be part of. Provides a safe and enjoyable environment to dive. They organize many summer dives around local lakes and rivers. Beyond diving, a fun social group to hang around with from time to time.
Best scuba club around. Learn how to dive surrounded by experienced divers. Year round social events as well. It's a great community to become a part of!
I made the decision to join the club a few years ago and it was a great decision. My parents have been members for a long time and I originally was drawn to the events the club had. They have social events, SCUBA events and events that help the community. Even though I liked attending some of these events with my parents I was unsure I wanted to SCUBA dive. About 2 years ago I did a try SCUBA and the instructors were very welcoming and supportive, I felt safe and enjoyed every second of it. Since joining the EUC I have had some great adventures and explored some amazing shipwrecks and reefs. It is definitely a worth while experience. Not only do the instructors help you throughout the course to make sure you feel comfortable and safe but afterwards there are also many events and SCUBA adventures to take part in.
This great training facility and the social aspects of being in a club has kept me as a member since 1984. The availability of advancing my certification levels and skills while working with friends that I have made is a win/ win. The many opportunities to get involved with special projects or dive trips has created lasting memories.
I took up scuba diving over 30 years ago but had no one to dive with when I started. I joined this club and have been a member ever since. 7 of my siblings and relatives have been certified by this club. I always have dive buddies and social activities year round.
