The Pickle Barrel

Came with a couple of friends. It’s been a long time since the last time I came for dinner. Place has a funky smell I guess because it’s old. Ordered a couple of drinks and dinner. The drink my friend ordered didn’t look at all like the one from the menu, my friend had to return it. The kung pow was super salty. My friend said her burger was good, the fries were good. Service was very good.

Food was ok. The quality is suitable for the price. It's my first time to have dinner here. The best was the service. I eas served by Mark. Really a great guy. Very pleasant. Very polite. Helpful. We wanted to make sure that the food doesn't have any pork and do some changes to sauces, he was more than happy to accommodate us all. He was always smiling. The 5 stars is mainly for the level of service we had.

First Visit:Excellent service at this location, we had the french toast (not multigrain ) amazing take on a traditional favourite. prompt service with amazing servers, hosts and food.

Second Visit: amazing service, seating time quick and efficient. Most importantly my request to have my fries super to extra was followed (it's a test at every place I go.) Thanks again for the excellent service.

Service was good but burger, French onion soup, salads were all average.

Update: I provided the same feedback to customer service and they provided me with a $25 gift card on a $200 family meal instead of a full refund. It's something but not enough to change the rating.
