You can leave a review about the contractors workmanship not how he runs his accounting. Contractors are not required to provide receipts to customers as long as an invoice is required he has done exactly what he's suppose to do. Original receipts are used for accounting purposes and I know for a fact that manufactures for example Moen have their own warranty to cover any issues that may arise with the faucet. Also, did the contractor pick up the faucet? if so, there is definitely going to be some type of a transportation charge for his time If you were worried about this than you should have picked up the faucet yourself and only have installation charges. No reason what so ever for calling him shady???
It is people like you, who leave these ridiculous reviews on local businesses and ruin someone's reputation for no reason. Your words and name calling are hurtful and he even gave you a DISCOUNT! Lucky customer.
In times like this (pandemic, economy dropping) does it ever occur to you that leaving such a hateful review may be effecting his family? If you have something to discuss about his workmanship that's one thing but you have chosen to rant about his accounting and that shows more about you as a person versus him as a contractor.
This contractor was honest, hardworking and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing and HVAC needs.
