(February 15, 2020, 1:29 am)I had the pleasure of taking the Asset French Beginner course A1 with Mr. Yves Bernard. We learned a lot of vocabulary and oral communication in daily life situations in present, past and future tense. The class was very interactive, fun, and easy to follow.
Mr. Bernard is very patient and understanding. He is very attentive, respectful and organized. The class was small which made it possible for Mr. Bernard to personalize the lessons and address our weaknesses.
At the end of the course I made a trip to Quebec and I am proud to say that I was able to order food at the different restaurants, rent a hotel room, ask for directions and prices.
The hours and location are very convenient. I highly recommend this course to everyone; your money will be well invested! -

(February 10, 2020, 2:15 am)I signed up for the Asset French Beginner A1 with MaClasse back in September and recently completed the course. The overall experience was very positive.
The instructor, Yves, was very professional and accommodating. It was clear the class he focused on the strengths and weaknesses of our group. I liked that the lessons, and resources, were tailored to our needs.
The learning environment was well thought out. The design of the class was helpful. There were many visual aids used throughout the course, and the most commonly used nouns and verbs were posted up in the room permanently.
As far as the logistics are concerned. The flexibility of the time slots was a plus. The location off Islington was convenient. Multiple payment methods were acceptable.
To sum it up. I took this course to further my job prospects. Although, it can be intimidating learning a new language as an adult with a group of strangers, I had a lot of fun and I met some interesting people. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. -

(February 8, 2020, 9:59 pm)I took the A1 beginner course as part of the Asset French Program with Mr. Yves Bernard. By far the most practical French classes I have taken. Over the course of the program, the focus was to increase vocabulary commonly used in day-to-day life with emphasis on speaking and verbal communication. Topics we covered include locations, food, and transportation. The class size was small, on average 5 students, a lot of opportunity to participate.
Mr. Yves Bernard is highly organized and professional!
