Great people! Great machines! Wow, do they deliver! Teresa sold me exactly the right machine for me, and Christina gave me a 5-star lesson on how to use it. Sewing World is also just a fun place to be.

I have taken three sewing and two quilting classes at Sewing World over the last year and have loved every minute!!! Dalyce has been a fabulous teacher and Theresa has always given me a great deal on machines and notions! Love them❤️.

From the moment you enter Sewing World, you are in the best hands! Teresa and her coworkers are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They do not push you at all, but take their time to show you the products you may be interested in, based on your skill level and interests. I bought a Janome machine when my older machine was having issues, and am thrilled with it. (They also fixed my original machine and I am now pleased to have a back-up.) Great place to go not just for sewing machines and sergers, but tune-ups and sewing notions.
Thank you, Teresa and co., for being so helpful!

I am currently taking my second sewing course at Sewing World. And I LOVE it! First of all, the instructor, Deb, is a highly experienced instructor with impressive credentials. She knows her stuff! But more importantly, she knows how to teach. Being highly skilled in your field and knowing how to teach others do not always go hand-in-hand. But Deb carefully explains all the technical knowledge in a concise but thorough manner while emphasizing the correct terms. And she doesn't mind having to explain things more than once ;).

Secondly, the classes are very small, so you get a lot of individual attention. I find a nice camaraderie develops amongst the students and with the complimentary coffee, the atmosphere is relaxing and supportive.

Thirdly, Sewing World offers students a nice discount when they purchase sewing items from them. But there is absolutely no pressure or expectation that you buy your supplies from them. Just ask friendly Theresa.

I have been buying machines from Teresa and Christina for about 17 years (I have 5). The experience has been perfect - EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Teresa has a way of knowing the exact level you need and finding the perfect machine for you, at a cost that is below other stores. I would not buy a machine from anyone else in the city. I also wouldn't' take my machines (including my trusty MB-4) for service anywhere else. They are absolute pros. And that Christina -- she knows more about embroidery than anyone and can train anyone on the technology!
