(November 7, 2020, 9:18 pm)My grandparents lived on Mortimer Ave so I’ve been going to this Dairy Queen for close to 55 yrs. I gave this location 3 stars for very specific reasons. Years ago it was always great to go get a Chocolate Dipped cone and sit on the hill and look at the views. There has been a decline in the last 20 plus years and it has to do with the original owner and his sons who run this location and one on Kennedy Rd. Unfortunately they are not a friendly bunch. It seems to be beyond them to be recognize repeat customers or be pleasant. When the father was running the store, it at least was always clean. With the sons running things, the seating area, the bathrooms always seem unclean. The sons are even more unfriendly. This location is not up to company standards by any means. I enjoy the ice cream and cakes but when the service trumps the product, it’s time for an overhaul.

The hot food is not that great IMO but if you're looking for ice cream or any kind of ice cream product you will be in heaven. During this pandemic I know everybody is trying to alter the way they do business to stay safe but still best serve their clients, Dairy Queen is definitely up to par

I like their service, they abide by the covid rules and don't let customers wait inside. The ladies working were very patient and helpful. Once you order you wait outside for your order to be prepared.
Ice cream is always good. The view made it better. -
