(July 14, 2020, 4:18 pm)One bad experience made me skeptical and (frankly) afraid of chiropractors, until my beloved family doctor referred me to Dr. DuPuis. I could not be more grateful for Carissa's expertise, care, diligence, extra time spent in making the correct diagnosis of vestibular vertigo resulting from a severe bout of the flu which was further complicated by a concussion. Dr. Dupuis's intervention, skills, calm demeanour, confidence and instincts in sending me to the hospital when she did and her proactive collaboration with my family doctor in providing integrated care could not be more appreciated. She effectively treated both conditions - the concussion and the vestibular issues. She is the first doctor who informed me that there are multiple types of vertigo which I was not aware of, having suffered from a previous bout of vertigo when I was offered no treatment at all. She cared for me over email and spent extra time and care when I was completely terrified. Those terrifying times will always remain salient and it's thanks to her that I did not feel so alone. I came to her unable to walk in a straight line and six months later, I am able to perform three pirouettes. I could not be more grateful and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone in need of chiropractic care but especially for brain rehabilitation. Thank you a million times! ;-)
