My dad and I walked in looking to return wet food we bought for our kitten, and Logan explained the importance of wet food and proceeded to guide us towards the best dry food. He even helped us look for the best scratch post options. His knowledge tremendously helped us, and we really enjoyed shopping with him. Thanks Logan!

(December 14, 2022, 10:02 pm)Nice clean location. I was assisted with finding a couple of things I needed. Got very good service from the only staff that was working, who was clearly quite busy. Pet Valu, overall as a chain is a good pet store.

(December 12, 2022, 9:34 pm)Having the restraining loop broken everyday and having to replace it everyday in your self serve dog wash does not mean to give me attitude when I’m asking you nicely if you happen to have an extra one so I could get my dog washed. No need to be grumpy on a Saturday morning and ruining my day.
Staff called the next day to apologize, appreciate it. But please make sure there is a restrain loop for the dog wash. -

(November 1, 2022, 6:57 pm)This is a nice store. Very clean and nice open concept store. Fairly easy to find what you are looking for. This location also offers pet grooming for those who need that. I just wish pet valu had a better rewards system.

(August 18, 2022, 3:01 pm)We were taking a stroll on Yonge Street, and decided to stop by Pet Valu to see if there were any dogs up for adoption. We were greeted by the store cat, Nugget. She is the friendliest cat EVER! Even when you are playing with her, the paws never scratch you, and they are super soft :D Don't be surprised if you see food packaging got nibbled on... Nugget's behind it lol.
We also met Benson aka BenBen, who was up for adoption. This cat has been in the store since early June 2022. He has a grumpy face but loves belly and chin rubs! Hope he gets adopted soon :)
The store is very bright and clean, the aisles are stocked, and staff are very friendly and welcoming here. Pet-friendly, you can certainly bring your pets in and roam around the store!

UPDATE August 18, 2022: Sadly, didn't see Nugget in the store yesterday, and we also didn't see BenBen either :D I hope he is with a lovely family now!
