Been here twice so far and really enjoyed the food both times I've been here! Although the menu is limited in variety, the food items that they offer are delicious and the servers are nice and attentive. The soup of the jjamppong is really flavourful and I especially love their stir-fried noodles. Their black bean sauce is on the sweeter side. I have also tried the tangsuyuk, and the meat is on the tougher and chewier side.

Very spacious and clean. Not a lot of menu to choose from but I think it's actually good focusing on a few good things rather than having 20-30 random things like most Korean restaurants do.
To me, the food was OK. The jjajangmyun was a bit too sweet in my taste but was yummy. I could taste the smokiness which was nice. Tangsuyuk was not mind blowing but also OK. Definitely much better than some other korean restaurants that sell the same menu but compared to the ones that I usually go to, not as flavourful. Maybe I just expected too much....

A nice little spot added to the North York area. I wish they had a bit more variety to their menu. With their small selection of items on the menu, their food is good but not great which is surprising. Their black bean noodles is a tad sweet. I will still stop by to support them though.

    🍛 Jjang Bap
💭 This was so much more flavorful than the one I had at Samgol! And it’s much a better deal because there was, well, more in quantity and high in quality. The egg was scrumptious and nicely fried with all the veggies inside. The jjampong soup that came with it made the experience more enjoyable because it cleansed my palate, allowing me to truly savour the Jjang instead of get bored of it. I have a big stomach, so I finished all of that! It can fit two people tho. All for just $8.99.

    🍲 Jjamppong Bap

💭 My friend liked it! She said that it was very flavorful. There were more vegetables in her jjamppong and a fair range of seafood. SamGol she says, is much better because they have more seafood. And that would make sense because jjamppong means seafood. My friend also liked having the rice on the side but in this case, it was in the bowl already mixed in with some noodles. It that’s your vibe, then you’d really enjoy it! But it made her fuller as the rice kept inflating in her bowl, the longer it sat there. Moderate spice level! Definitely something I could consume without drinking mouthfuls of water.

The Tangsuyuk Large we got was quite little for large and we wished that the batter for the tangsuyuk and the yuringi be switched to appropriately fit the authentic Korean flavour. It was good to me, nevertheless! Try it out ☺️

A big Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant chain. Simple and tasty. That’s Paik’s concept I believe. Small menu but everything is delicious and cheap. Highly recommend jajangmyeong and tangsuyuk. Noodles are cooked perfectly, chewy and not mushy. It goes really well with the black bean sauce. Tangsuyku is the star , Pork is juicy and tender but so crispy. Also tableware and napkins are hidden in a drawer under the table. You may not notice it when the first time go there. The only downside is when I tried to order more dishes to take out, they said takeout orders were not available due to the busy business.
