Have been going to Excel nails for 15 years. This was the first time getting my eye lashes done. Chow did an amazing job! I highly recommend her. Efficient, fast, knowledgeable and did exactly what I asked for. Henry, Julie and Van are the go to nail techs!

Tina and team are absolutely amazing!! I trave all the way from York Region for their services. Tina does amazing lash extension and waxing service. EVA did my nails omg she was so kind and patient when I changed length and did a better job than the picture I showed her for reference!! I feel vacation ready and will never do my nails anywhere else no matter how much closer to me it is!!

Came here yesterday for a Mani/pedi in preparation for a wedding I am attending. The place is efficient and clean. They were able to get me in as a walk-in on short notice on a weekday evening so I appreciated that. They worked efficiently, with one girl working on my pedicure and another girl working on my manicure.
The girl recommended that I do the gel / shellac manicure but I wanted to do a regular manicure to preserve my nail health and to make the nails a bit easier to remove later.

The service was done quickly and efficiently. Afterwards, they had a dryer that I sat at for at least 20 minutes. It felt like they were so busy that they kind of forgot me there but I just sat there and put in the extra drying time in hopes of getting a better result. Not sure how long one is supposed to sit at the dryer.

I was very disappointed because 30 minutes later right when I got home and was changing for dinner, I immediately already had several chips and scratches in my manicure. The manicure was supposed to be dry. It was just poorly done , or the . materials were poor quality. I understand that regular manicures are not as sturdy as gel manicures, but it's really bad when a manicure (that by the way was more expensive than my usual Mani/ pedi place) cannot even last one hour! Never mind 24 hours. I got chips and scratches even after 30 minutes. Now that it's been another 12 hours there's also even more scratches on my thumbnail. The entire surface is uneven. I am so embarrassed to meet my husband's family like this and I wish I could have gone straight back to them when this happened 30 min after leaving the salon, but by then the salon was closed because I had gone in the evening. I did not have time to drive again to Excel today because of other appointments and I'm just going to show up to the wedding events like this. I guess I could theoretically go to another salon to redo everything, but I just can't bear dropping more money on nails less than 24 hours after I paid and used time for a full Mani/pedi! The quality is similar to what I would have gotten if I just painted my own nails. I kind of wish I would have just done that because the quality is not better and I'm kind of embarrassed. There's already holes in my nails!

For comparison, the usual place I go to, I can often get a manicure that lasts a whole week. I know that's really good and I wasn't necessarily expecting that. But I was hoping for a few days or at the very least one day. This literally did not even last 30 minutes!

Not sure if it was related to uneven application or poor quality materials (I did not recognize the brand names on the polishes).

Also, the massage for the Mani/pedi was really weak and barely anything, just going through the motions. I would have still accepted it if the mani-pedi were better quality but it was really terrible.

Van is an excellent and very talented nail artist. I screenshot a design idea 💡 and showed it to him and we chat about it, I explained the summer colors I wanted. He is kind, patient and easy to talk to. Van helped me to choose the best colors in light bright summery pastels. I can't tell you how happy I am with the results, the original design was black and white but I really wanted to change it to a more colorful palette.
Perfect for my event and for my comimg IG lives ❤️
