Total Third Floor Renovation

We had seen the wonderful result of a renovation done on behalf of our neighbors by Florin and his team at BCF Contracting some years ago, so his name was on our minds when we finally decided that we needed some major work done in our 110 year old Toronto home. We needed a total demolition and rebuild of the third floor to deal with its age and deficiencies. Of course, to make it more onerous we would live in the house during the work!

Our initial meeting with Florin was productive, helpful and convincing. Of course, having seen his work at our neighbors house was also reassuring, so we engaged them.

No project is without its issues, but Florin and his team, who are courteous, careful and very capable professionals, ensured that things happened as they should.

I had never done any work or renovations in my small downtown Toronto condo and was a bit apprehensive of the process.
BCF Contracting Group was only my second call/quote and my first meeting put me at ease and gave me the confidence to move forward.
Florin was a pleasure to work with and made the entire experience enjoyed. I had a rough idea or concept of what I wanted my kitchen to look like but not a concrete plan. Florin listened to my ideas and ran with the rough scheme. A comprehensive quote was provided and we used that as the guideline moving forward.

Florin knew exactly how much to involve me for each stage without overwhelming me. He dealt with my in a manner that made the entire process enjoyable even when we were up against covid restrictions for most of the process. The biggest relief on my part was how familiar BCF Contracting was with working with the complexities of condo buildings. Condo building rules and protocols can be difficult and the team managed with ease.

I cannot express how happy I am with the final result. I LOVE my new kitchen and anyone who has entered my condo since completion has shared the sentiment.

Florin and his team were fantastic. They were courteous, and meticulous in their work and in protecting our furnishings. The project started and ended on schedule. Any additional costs beyond the original quote were due to upgrades we chose. Florin made a couple of suggestions, and we are so glad we took his advice. Our experience with BCF Contracting had been great throughout the whole project which included complete main floor and bathrooms remodel. Starting with great customer service, right through project management, workmanship, finishes and closeout, all BCF crews and trades were nothing less than amazing and delivered an awesome project on time and budget exactly as promised. They worked through various challenges including changed scope on our (client’s) request, and pandemic related issues. No fuss, no complaints, no excuses- BCF just got into the project, worked hard to see it through and got us back into out home just as promised.
