Love, love, love our custom door from Amberwood Doors. The installers were respectful, neat and did a great job getting the door up quick during winter season in Ottawa. I would recommend this company.

Amberwood recently replaced our front doors and they did a fantastic job! Rick was very helpful as we decided on the design and what would look right on our house. Install went smoothly, on time and everything went exactly as scheduled. Here is a before and after picture...what a difference.

My husband and I feel extremely privileged to have met Rick Facchini and to have had the front door to our home fabricated and installed by Amberwood for the following reasons:
1. Rick is an authentic and honest salesperson as well as being a creative designer. He diplomatically told us the door we had in mind for our house would not be suitable and instead designed double doors that compliment the architecture and indeed enhance the look of our home. Together we negotiated a price that was fair to us both. He gave us a realistic time frame within which to expect the final installation and delivered on time.
2. Jesse at Amberwood gave up plenty of notice of the anticipated installation date which was exactly the date the installation team arrived. They laid a tarp on our interior entrance floor as well as across the hallway so as to minimize dirt and noise thus allowing us to go about our day with minimal disruption. They were pleasant, efficient and professional and left our home as clean as they had found it. Minor touch ups we noticed after they had gone were attended to efficiently and in a timely manner.
3. It has been a pleasure dealing with the Amberwood team especially Rick who always made himself available for any questions or concerns.
4. My husband and I also want to express our gratitude to the owner of Amberwood who has had the steadfastness of maintaining a “made in Canada” product that is of superior quality, has kept Canadians employed and has continued to serve Canadians.

Master artisans, expert sales (thank you Rick!), expert technicians = the Ferrari of doors. We replaced our front door, patio door, and master bed exterior doors -- our home is completely transformed. In addition to the craftsmanship, the doors are absolute tanks; we never considered the additional benefit of security they provide. You get what you pay for ladies and gentlemen. Shock and awe of the delivered product.

From choosing the our front door style to the install we were happy with everyone we dealt with. Rick was patient with our decision making and the installers were patient and helped us with other little things along the way during the install process. They were clean friendly to all my family members including my dogs and left us with a beautifully install solid wood door that will last many years to come.
