So the wings were great - we had the Cajun wings. Prices are reasonable and portions generous... But the fries!

The best fries I have ever eaten in my life. Crispy as all get out and still tender inside. I have no idea what they do to create such crispy deliciousness, but I will be thinking about these fries for the rest of my life as they are the new standard against which all fries will be compared.

I've ordered off Skipthedishes for the second time now during late night as they're open until 2am as per store hours. I was impressed both times. First they cook/prepare the food very fast. Second I expected a small burger and a few fries for the price ($7.99 for a cheeseburger with fries and onion rings) but was amazed when I saw how much food actually comes with it. I've also tried the butter chicken lasagne, it's good but personally for the size and price I would have just ordered another burger. The jambalaya (got it with rice) was a good size portion and had a good amount of meats plus it came with a warm Naan bread. Would recommend.

Really great pub with a large menu, great affordable tasty food and friendly staff. Definitely a repeat customer.

I stick to the basics. Ex. $12 curry chicken. $7 burger and fries. I am never disappointed with those.

Pre-covid also loved their Wellington SPA on tap. Cheap beer prices! I've never tried their pasta.

Ordered for the first time today through Skip the Dishes. My 82 year-old aunt had ordered from here once before and was quite impressed. She had carrot/ginger soup, lamb curry with rice and onion rings. She doesn't normally like onions no matter how they're served but, these ones she liked. Thought I'd give the place a try.

Ordered the jambalaya with rice - and yes, you guessed it, onion rings.

Portion size was good. The jambalaya had a nice kick to it and there was no shortage of chicken, shrimp or sausage.

It was all the same brownish-red color so it was hard to distinguish one protein from the other, although once you had a piece in your mouth it was easy - the shrimp still had the tails on and the sausage pieces were still in their casing,
No problem. Just chew it up and spit it out - certainly can't swallow it.

I was a bit confused, though. The order came with naan (Indian bread) and I don't know why since the roots of jambalaya are West African, Spanish and French.

The onion rings were just that - onion rings. I should have realized that they would probably arrive soggy, which is what they were. Nothing special there.

Tasty overall. Worth trying at least one more time.
