(February 24, 2022, 11:04 pm)This hidden gem off the snowmobile trail is the place to go for a delightful, tasty, home cooked meal. Ordered the grilled cheese and soup.... just so delicious! They also have premium gas and are fully stocked with Polaris VES Oil and Ski doo XPS Oil. Owners are super accommodating and are just great down to earth people!

Hosts are phenomenal as well as their dogs. Especially Eddie.
The food was to die for. We we're only able to stay 2 nights however between the pork loin and the sausage pasta and salad/ cheese cake to boot!...we will definitely return to this place annually...I recommend checking it out if you like hot meals and warm cabins with all the necessities etc etc.

The lodging was perfect, super clean and had every thing we needed to enjoy our stay! The food was beyond amazing! Was the best chicken parm I have ever eaten! 5 stars... heck 10 stars if it was an option l!

We travel 7 hrs to come here, and would rather spend a day on the road to get here then anywhere else .
From the time I first called and throughout my stay with my family . Everyone is so lovely to deal with .
The food that they make and bring to your cabin is unreal . Tonight we had roasted chicken and butternut squash with Caesar salad . And Karis and company did an amazing job preparing this . The meal was fantastic . Last nights steak was amazing too .
Which we showed up around 10 pm and they still had a hot meal ready and smiles on their face to greet my family .
Coming from someone that’s been everywhere . Elk lake wilderness resort is a hidden gem . And if you haven’t been , then I suggest you call them now and reserve a week here or even just a weekend .
Cabins are tidy and everything functions . They think of everything .
If there was a button for 6-10 stars they’d get the 10 star review .
Looking forward to bringing my employees and family up here for many years to come .
