Presqu'Ile Cottages

A great place to vacation, fish or just watch the day go by.

Presqu’ile Cottages is a very beautiful spot on the french river. Brad was extremely accommodating. From the first phone call up until we left. My husband and I along with a couple of roommates had booked a 3 month long rental to work on the Henvey Inlet Wind Turbine Project. We enjoyed ourselves during the summer season on the dock swimming, fishing, boating, cliff jumping, kayaking and paddle boarding. Great roads for cycling but it is a wind area. It’s pet friendly place. A little pricey but close to work and some cottages need maintenance. However, Brad made sure we had a place to stay even though he was all booked up since he knew we had to start work and wasn’t much in that area for accommodation. He made sure we had all the kitchen supplies and whatever else we needed for a long term stay.

We stayed at Cottage number 1, which is a 3 bedroom, living room with a washer and dryer. Some of the cottages are not right on the water but just a 2 minute hike up with a shared dock, still with a beautiful view of the lake and everyone in the resort was super friendly. Their is a small convenience store down the street, LCBO and a restaurant in the small town of Alban. The next town over in Noelville is about 15 minute drive to the closet gas station, grocery store, pharmacy, home hardware and restaurant. In the summer months lots of wild life in this area and the best fresh cut fries for Poutines, be sure to stop at one of the food trucks. This is cottage country living don’t expect it to be super fancy get away. It’s a nice area for relaxation and the outdoors. Great hiking spots.

Their ATV guided tour was an absolute blast! The guides were great and really know how to get new and inexperienced riders comfortable on their machines. I also had a great day out on the French River on one of their pontoon boats. Thanks Brad for the great vacation!
