I got married in Beaverton last weekend and most of our guest stayed at this resort. The manager Sarah was just absolutely fantastic. Every single guest had nothing but great things to talk about her and the place.
We were a little worried about the old reviews but then we found out that they went through a lot of renovations and management change.
So believe me when. I say that this place is worth the stay.
I am 100% going back to spend a day by the canal.
They have their own parking and some activities by the water. And apparently a warm indoor pool that I will visit during winter :)
Thank you Sarah and staff for the great service. You are the best. And saved us since there isn’t lot of options around and you were able to manage our guest with a very professional and friendly manner.

Loved the pool, staff, and location. And the massage therapists were absolutely amazing. They do have a few issues they have to figure out there though. The food at the restaurant took way too long to be prepared and was extremely expensive. The rooms weren't cleaned during the day even when it was requested. They could provide more towels, especially in the pool area. The beach was whatever, plus you couldn't swim there due to the bacteria. They didn't provide water bottles. Had a great time though. Just bring your own food.

So happy this place opened up again. Came here a few times while it was The Knights Inn. Upon check-in Fabi was at the front desk to check us in. Very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Check in was quick and our room was ready early which was great. Room was clean and beds were comfy. You can see they are making some improvements and I can't wait to see what the end result will be.
The private beach is absolutely beautiful. Shallow waters and very peaceful. Perfect if you have little ones. We will definitely be coming back. It's become a family tradition. Keep up the great work Pier One Resort!

Stayed in a garden view room on the ground floor. Rooms are dated but clean and spacious. The hotel is well staffed, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff especially were very nice. There were a few issues in our room, like the shower head blew off and we weren’t given new towels, but were resolved quickly. The pool and sauna are clean. The one complaint I have is the restaurant. Food is sub-par. Breakfast is awful. It really should be included in the price of the room considering what it is. It’s $18/person for a buffet that consists of scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and tater tots , all cold because the heaters weren’t working and everything had been sitting out all morning. You’re better off just driving 5 min to Tim Horton’s. For lunch/dinner, a nearby Italian restaurant called Lanterna is way better and cheaper. The hotel itself could use some upgrades, some parts of it were pretty worn down. Hopefully the new owners put some money into improvements. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and I was impressed by the customer service and level of staffing.

It’s a relaxing place. Friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. Didn’t get to go out on the waters as it was too windy. Food was good but took a while. Chef prepared special meal to accommodate a food allergy. Wish I had more time to explore the amenities next time.
