  We had a lovely Valentine’s dinner at the steakhouse. We were served by an absolutely top-notch, professional server. She was extremely attentive and was able to accommodate our dietary modifications. I wish I got her name so that I could mention her, but unfortunately I didn’t. I hope she will know we’re speaking about her. Sue and Jeff

  The wait staff was very caring and nice, but the food is not the greatest standard for the price. Our prime rib was over cooked, dry, and chewy, even though we ordered it medium rare.

  The restaurant and food is great, but pricey. Staff is friendly and professional. The reason for 4 stars is that guests of the Inn cannot get a table there without reservation most of the time. There is no sign anywhere that guests of the same hotel need reservation in order to get into the restaurant. In happens mostly when there is a wedding, so it might be when the place is busy. There are only two restaurants at Horseshoe, so be warned, if you are planning to visit.
