(February 25, 2019, 7:55 pm)Learned about the Wendat peoples from Will O'Hara's novel " Enemy Arrows " - the museum I hope to see. The pix of the longhouse look good and help one understand the story of the Wendat, the good the sad and the present.

(May 24, 2018, 11:28 am)Neat little museum. A nice art gallery with a small selection of Canadian art. Lots of information about wendat culture and interesting artifacts. There is a very large collection of Canadian antiques, from clothing to musical instruments, displayed in sort of a mishmash. Like a flea market, but nothing is for sale. Could use some organizing, editing and labeling to make it more accessible to visitors, but still very neat to look at all the stuff. Small gift shop. Wendat village outside was fine but not outstanding. The lighthouse lens on display was pretty spectacular!

(December 29, 2017, 9:50 pm)This place is great. There is a museum where you can learn about history, geography, art, and everyday life. It's very complete, not too long that's why it's perfect for families too. Then you can visit the Huron camp outside and it's amazing! It's was so interesting to be able to live this experience! It's a good thing to have the camp in which you can walk and seat, rather than simple photos from another era. I hope this place will help people to know more about the Huron and native people history. A must visit!
