Willow Trace Bed and Breakfast

We stayed for one night for a friend's wedding during the Labour Day long weekend. A stunning, large property with warm and inviting hosts. Our room was an entire basement to ourselves that led out onto a patio and a large backyard. We were happy to have arrived earlier because we discovered the basement had billiards and darts. We squeezed in a few games before the wedding and before we left the next day. Also, when we arrived Leanne asked us to fill out a short menu of what we wanted to eat for breakfast, and we could choose from eggs, to crepes to pancakes, in addition to the fixed menu items.

Our room included a private bathroom, and Leanne was also kind enough to set up a cot in addition to the queen sized bed (as we requested). The TV had Netflix we could use. We had lots of windows that looked out onto the beautiful yard, making the entire experience relaxing and peaceful. Everything was very clean and neat, and for the first time, complete with extra blankets, towels, toiletries, and anything else a guest would need to be as comfortable as possible.

Breakfast the next day was heavenly. I chose crepes and my boyfriend had the English breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, toast...We also got a helping of fruit, yogurt and homemade croissants! Everything tasted incredible.

One special note is that we appreciated the hosts giving us our space. I've been to many other bed and breakfasts where hosts often go out of their way to speak with guests and make conversation during breakfast. While this is great for some, we found it respectful that Leanne and her husband kept to themselves.

Overall, this was the best bed and breakfast I have ever been to. We wish we could have stayed for one more night! Highly recommend for any visitors to Collingwood and surrounding area. We hope to be back before the property is sold!

Great food, service and friendly family like environment! Definitely, will consider staying again next trip to Collingwood.

This place and these people are a treasure. Too bad they are selling and moving on. Go while you can this summer and enjoy their pool and 15 acre property. Better yet, get a group and do their cooking school. Wonderful couple who are a pleasure to talk to. So welcoming and positive. They do every detail of a B and B right. Breakfast is superb. We will try to go back this year.

What an amazing experience. Leanne and Phil are the perfect hosts and wonderful Chefs. The grounds are perfectly groomed and if the weather cooperated we would have a great hike and swim in the pool

Would give it 6 out of 5 if we could. Leanne is a gracious host. She is great at recommending places to visit and eat. Philip’s breakfasts were nothing short of amazing. Egg’s Benny is a must!!! We had the Joshua room, very quiet and comfy. Heated floors are a nice touch. Highly recommended.
