Mrs Cannings has been at this location for over 50 years serving ice cream, candy, cold drinks and selling antiques.
She is extremely sweet, a great lady to speak with, and her ice cream is delicious!

This has to be my favourite Ice Cream shop. I use to stop in Thornton at Brain Freezee but new owners have left a bad experience ruin it for me. happy to have this little shop close to home.

The woman who owns this place is lovely, she doesn't seem to have regular hours but she's definitely not permanently closed... I was there yesterday! Great service!

The best place in barrie for ice cream
I bought three double scoops 7.00
I thought wow great price.
And for years ive been going there and the staff is very nice.
A small location that is a nice place to go.
Minet point park is next store.
The owner is the nicest lady.
I give them 5 stars because they are 5 star people
The super nice to the kids.

Kawartha Dairy. Good prices. Lovely owner. Walk from Minets Point Park or park at the shop if there is space.
