Amazing beach. Clean, safe, organized. The best place to spend with the family. Different type of activities for all ages. Playground is outstanding! Highly recommend!

The beach is clean, but small. The water is shallow for about 30-40 feet, then it's a steep drop off. The drop is marked by a buoy line. There is a public washroom nearby. There were lifeguards on duty.

There is a huge inflatable in the lake that the kids can climb and play on for a fee.

There is a boardwalk to enjoy a leisurely walk.

We were there on a long weekend and a fair/festival was taking place... Made the area very hectic.

Parking is $10 an hour to a max of $50 for the day

The parking fees are 10 dollars per hour, or fifty dollars for the day, which is robbery. Don't you dare put up a shade canopy, it's against the law! We were forced to take down our 10x10 canopy. Other than that, it's a beautiful place. There was a Splash ON activity centre in the water which was really cool. I paid 25 dollars for my teenage son to go on for two hours. He really enjoyed it. While that was happening, I was in the water with my other son, who is 3. We stayed for 7 hours, so it was the right decision to pay the day rate for parking, but I still think it's a bit steep. It would be reasonable to charge about half of that in my opinion. We will not return to this beach only because of the price of parking. If the city of Barrie wishes to attract and maintain tourism, they really need to change this.

Great little beach, lovely boardwalks and wide green spaces. Loved the separate bike lanes. Plenty of $1/hr close by. The marina was empty of boats as it is early April but looked really charming. If in the area, do yourself a favor and visit one of the establishments along the waterfront, many good bars, restaurants, Brewery and so much more
