  I think this is the best fish and chips in barrie. Fresh healthy portion sizes, good real fresh cut fries , housemade tarter and coleslaw. What else could you possibly want in a fish and chip shop.

  Great halibut, little pricy. Get the Family of 4 special perfect for 2 and cheaper than ordering single fish n chips.

  Expensive, not quite the bang for your buck. For 1 piece halibut and chips you can pay the same amount elsewhere and get 3-5 large pieces of halibut and a basket of chips. (costing the exact same) I'm born English and I can tell you from experience. You get an entire fish and chip meal with the price of $10. Not over $20. The food quality may be good, but portion not so much!!!

  Amazing food, great value. I haven't had an opportunity to try all the fish and chip shops in Barrie yet, but of the ones I have tried this is hands down the best bang for your buck. The 2pc halibut and chips w/ salad is more than enough for two adults and will cost you right around $20 after tax. Phenomenal value. Fish is some of the best I have ever had, and that includes the ones I have tried in both the UK and Ireland. Chips are fresh and hand cut. Salad is also very good. Great gravy. No complaints whatsoever. Also have tried the souvlaki which rivals any Greek restaurant in the area. Overall great place to try, I stop in every few weeks and have been consistently since it re-opened on Mapleview couple years ago.

  My daughter and i went today because we both love fish and chips, and for the fried clams. It's said you can't please everybody...without lying or buying them off, so i didn't worry about the poor review or two.
  Service was great ,the food delicious and prompt...altogether worth my drive. We will be back again for sure!
