We have had a phenomenal experience with the entire team @ liquid skills and we are committed to go back every year and keep learning. (2 adults, 2 daughters - 13 year old adventurer and a 7 year old super shy)
Right from the start - Joey H spent almost 1 hour on the phone with me trying understand our family expectations, our abilities and interests to customize a program that will not just train us the core white water kayaking skills but also bring us together as a team with one goal to learn and have FUN!.
DL followed up diligently to make sure our schedule is locked and loaded and YES their fee per day with equipment is the BEST VALUE!
On the day of training we met awesome instructors @Sammy & @Travis who spend 14 hours on the river with us. Their patience, commitment and positive attitude was highly effective in making us feel comfortable with water while getting hooked on to this amazing sport!.
They gently kept raised the bar for us without us realizing that we could achieve so much in a 2 day program. the balance between training and FUN was perfect.
Finally, we as a family didn't realize that we were surrounded by SUPERSTARS, who were so humble and amazing humans. We googled Joey H, Sammy, Travis & DL only to realize how talented they all are in their respective expertise and are recognized globally for their excellence.
It is 6AM my 7 year old is awake on a sunday morning as she wants to go practice Sammy & Travis's techniques.
