As a fresh boat owner, i was looking for a marine mechanic within my area as Tom is the highest rated in the immediate area so i took it to him. he took time out of his schedule and made an appointment to fix my mistakes when repairing my stern drive impeller. i made several mistakes including not hooking the water line up properly, bending my lower shift lever, and tearing several seals. tom replaced them for me despite the added extra work on his schedule. i felt the price i paid wasn't bad for the work put it. that being said, i asked for a general lookover of the engine to ensure proper working order. i was advised of a leaky carburetor and told i should be alright. i took it to lake huron as i know the water well and tested it (didnt make it past the harbor buoys to discover i had almost no power. i took it in that day to Smg Marine who worked on this boat with the previous owner in port elgin for a carburetor rebuild only to be shown a broke choke wire to my carburetor and shown i had no compression in 3 cylinders. that was upsetting to hear after i had Tom give it a look over. From here on out ill be taking it to aim marine in ottowa or back to SMG Marine in port elgin.

Honest friendly service and an if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality. I can't recommend Tom enough. Lifelong client.

As a boat owner in Southern Ontario it was always challenging to find an honest and reputable maintenance and storage facility in that part of the province. Tom not only exceeded my expectations, he approached my boat requirements as if it were his own boat. Cost effective in what is needed now vs. what to watch for in the future. Sidebar; I only write reviews when the service I’m awarded goes BEYOND and ABOVE what I was expecting. Tom has a lifetime client with me. I wish everyone in this business had his work ethic.

I brought my boat to Tom and the team at Industrial Marine to repair an issue that other companies failed to find. The problem was identified and repaired both quickly and efficiently. When picking up the boat Tom insisted that we wet test the boat before accepting payment. This was true professionalism and a fantastic example of the lost art of customer service. All boat owners want "that place" to get their boat serviced. Well my friends...Industrial Marine & Sport is that place.
