(August 2, 2019, 4:55 pm)This is a summer swim lesson program administered by the municipality - information is on the North algona wilberforce website though you'll get more complete information if you call. It's 5$ a lesson or you can pay 50$ for the entire season. It's drop in lessons so you can go any day at the time of the kids' level. There is a sand beach that the kids play in before/after lessons - there are sand toys available. There are change rooms and a port-a-potty available - the beach is mostly shaded. It's in a fair hill so not particularly friendly for strollers/wheelchairs. I appreciated how convenient this was while visiting.
