(September 24, 2021, 1:43 pm)Very educational and exciting trip, the entire area is amazing and the caves are something else. our guide told us the story of the discovery of the caves and what they went through all those years ago exploring them. Highly recommend for an adventure and learning experience. The tour through the caves is almost an hour and if you go in the fall the bats will be home, in summer no bats in the cave (at least when we went) The guide said in the fall they just hang there on wall ( NOT like by the 100s) and just watch you as you pass.

(September 20, 2021, 6:27 pm)Well lit/maintained caves. Good geological info on the path. Long enough to find interesting things in the caves, but short enough for the kids. Cones with info plaques every dozen feet. Kids loved the well water pump. Outside bathrooms were good.

(September 13, 2021, 10:51 pm)It's definitely a place you want to visit if you like archeology or even just caves. You have to pay $17 for adults to enter the caves. You will find a small trail which I don't find anything exciting. But when it comes to the caves it's a different world. You will spend around 25min in the caves where you can find fossils and other natural formations. I will suggest you to take a flash light if you want to see it all in details. But there is more than enough light everywhere to easily walk.
You will find a small shop inside the ticket counter where you can buy actual fossils and some souvenirs. It really was an amazing place. -

Got there just before 10am and only had to wait 20 minutes to be able to go in but that's okay because there are things to explore while waiting like rapids and exhibit on the fossils you will see. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Perfect thing to do on a hot day as it is cool down in the caves. Caves and grounds are beautiful and a must see.
